The Revolver utilizes ConneXion Grip an improved version of ConneXion coverstock. ConneXion Grip incorporates a new formula to increase the footprint size of the coverstock which improves mid-lane and back-end traction.The Jack core was designed as a low RG symmetric core with a high differential. The low RG engages in the mid-lane assisting in ball motion, and the high differential increases track flare potential giving the ball more opportunity to grip the back-end while using standard layouts and interchangeable thumb sleeves.With its 4,000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, the Revolver will provide good length with a strong continuous back-end reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.The Revolver can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12- and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG differential that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

I normally don't have a hook ball but with this new ball, there is just an ever so slight hook that really helps me. Once I found the proper "spot" I get a strike every time. It takes a bit to get used to, but "practice makes perfect!" I ordered a 14 pound ball and usually use a 13 and this was a good move for me.

I've purchased 2 revolvers in the past 3 months and have been nothing but satisfied. I drill one with the pin up to accommodate a drier condition and one with pin down to roll through the oil. The first night I used the pin down ball in league, with no practice games on the ball, I shot 277, 266 and 226. The pin up ball has been very similar except it would slide too much on a spotty or very heavy oiled condition.

I use this ball every week in league , and for tournaments, but what I found out for the year that it is best used for league bowling and not for the heavier oiled lanes because it doesn't have the strong gripping power for oily lanes,
but I still love the ball and would highly recommend this to anyone.

This ball hits hard. Good backend. You can throw many different lines to the pocket and be successful. Totally satisfied with it's performance just don't over power it. Let the ball work.

Be more specific when ordering pin length as I stated in instructions for a 2-3 inch length and the ball came with 4-5 which meant different drilling placement above fingers.Overall the value was there [...]
